I Joined K V No.1 Patiala as Principal on 18.08.2018 on being transferred from Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 AFS Halwara. This is a prestigious vidyalaya, not only in the Chandigarh Region but also in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan as a whole. Year after year, it is achieving excellence in academics, games and sports, co-curricular activities and many other activities. It has been selected as one of the model schools by KVS New Delhi. It is also a ‘Smart Vidyalaya’ to impart computer education to neighbouring schools. Like other KVs it is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.
School has a permanent building built. My efforts would be pursue VMC to keep school building well maintained and conducive for providing better environment to our students. School otherwise has good facility for sports, well equipped labs including computer lab, Smart class rooms and big Library.
My Endeavour would be to inculcate good values among students and try to make them good human beings. For this Parents and teachers of students would be contacted and counselled. Efforts would also be made to provide developed and conducive environment to students for their al round development.
